This three ingredient foamy hot chocolate is super simple to make and is so filling and tasty. I am obsessed with peanuts, especially caramelized peanuts. So why not turn them into a hot chocolate? There is no good reason not to. The reason to use peanut brittle instead of peanuts and sugar? Because the peanut brittle will have caramelized sugar and this is the magic touch that elevates the peanuts.

I make my own peanut brittle; it is peanuts, sugar, and butter. Whatever peanut brittle you use is probably going to have these ingredients but I know that sugar content will vary. So feel free to adjust the amount of peanut brittle in this recipe. Add more if you want sweeter. My recipe is low in sugar, high on peanuts. You can also substitute the milk for water.
